And She's Off

McCall has finally taken the leap and is now riding a bike without training wheels. She hadn't even been on a bike since the beginning of last summer. Her training wheels broke and she wasn't quite ready to make the leap. So, the past two summers have been on the scooter. Last night we decided to give it a try (it was a beautiful 75 degrees) and before we were to the end of the street she was off on her own. I credit it all to the scooter. She was able to learn how to balance on the scooter and it made the bike thing a ton easier. She is very excited! I am too - maybe we can now go on bike rides together. The only problem is that she is way too tall for her bike - guess we already know what to plan for on her next birthday.

Anyway - we are glad to hear Grandpa is doing better. Maybe you wouldn't have the aches and pains if you would stop having to knock each other every night (on the Wii of course). Stay out of the heat and make sure to wear sunscreen!!!!!
