Holidays!

Well, I'm finally getting this updated since last month. We had a great Halloween. We had a fun neighborhood party we went to then we went to a friend's house for a party on Halloween. We did trick-or-treating around their neighborhood. Kira had a ball! She kept saying "we're going to the next house?" like she just couldn't believe her luck. Kira was Snow White and Kaylee was a "debil" (as Kira called it). They were both so cute! Kyle and I got to go to a grown-up only party at one of his friend's and he loved dressing up for that.

It's so hard to believe Thanksgiving is just around the corner. We're going to dinner at Kyle's dad's house this year. I am so excited for the holidays this year. We're going to have a great Christmas with both girls. Kira already asks if Santa is coming to our house yet. She has also been saying "Grandma Reid wants to come to my house". I tried to explain that she lives a long ways away and you have to buy a ticket to get on the airplane. One morning, she kept asking if Grandma Reid had a quarter. Finally, I figured out she was asking if Grandma had a quarter to buy her ticket to come to our house. We're hoping to make a trip to Utah in January and be able to stay for a couple weeks. It will be so nice to see everyone.

Kira has gotten to know a couple little girls in our neighborhood much better from her ABC class she took. We've gotten together with them at least once a week to play and they're like best friends now. It's so cute to watch.

Kaylee has two teeth on top now and is standing up on furniture, cruising around holding on to it and even stood by herself for a few seconds the other day. I'm thinking she'll be trying to walk by herself in the near future. Scary! She already has no fear and crawls off to find things on her own all the time. She is always such a happy baby with a smile on her face. What a joy.

I'm really enjoying being home with the girls and seeing them grow and change. It's so amazing to believe they're going to be celebrating birthdays in a couple months already. I'm so happy life has taken me to this point. I've got a great family and love what I'm doing.

I guess that about catches us up to this point. We miss and love all those friends and family we aren't able to see often. Take care!
Happy Birthday to Mom on the 12th! We love you!!!
