Happy Memorial Day

We hope you all had a wonderful holiday weekend. We had fun but mostly was getting projects done around the house. Kyle only had to work about 1/2 day on Saturday so he had plenty to do here to keep busy. He hung some ceiling fans, sanded the dresser for Kira, cleaned up his garage, etc. We had a party to go to on Saturday night, a neighbor had a BBQ on Sunday evening and we had a BBQ at his mom's tonight. So fun!

We've been enjoying some warmer weather so we got alot of our plants and flowers in. Kaylee loves to play in all the dirt. I've already decided that each day, they're probably going to go through at least two changes of clothes with all the dirt and water they like to get into.

So we had a little incident last night after our neighborhood BBQ... Kira was completely exhausted. I put Kaylee to bed and when I came out, I asked Kyle where Kira was. He said she was in our bathroom. I walked in there and she had that "look" on her face. I asked what she was doing and she pointed to the ground. There was a clump of hair. We had been talking about needing to get her hair trimmed and she said she trimmed her hair. With what?? Kyle's wire cutters he had left on the sink!! Then, she broke down and started sobbing hysterically. I asked if she was sad about her hair and she said yes. I said she never, ever, ever should do that again or cut anyone else's hair. That only the "hair lady" can cut our hair. She really was having a hard time with it but I told her it would be ok and we'd go get it fixed. Then she said "I don't want to be bald like Daddy". I almost laughed but it was so sad... Hopefully, that's the first and last time we go through that!

That's about all we've been up to lately. Nothing too exciting. Hope you all are doing well!
