Happy Easter!

We had a great Easter this year. Kira was pretty excited to see if the Easter Bunny came. She woke up awhile earlier than Kaylee so we had to wait for Kaylee to wake up. When she did, Kira came in with me to get her up and found some eggs in Kaylee's room. She then ran to her room to see if the bunny came there and sure enough, he did! She couldn't figure out how the Easter Bunny got in her room at night but she loved it. We went downstairs and she went nuts finding all the eggs all over. It is so much fun to watch! Kaylee even started getting the hang of it too finding eggs and putting it in the basket. But, her favorite thing was going to Kira's basket, grabbing an egg and making a run for it over to mommy to "save her". She has figured that game out pretty quickly.

Later that afternoon, we went to Kyle's mom's house for dinner and another egg hunt. There were some snow flurries so we did it inside instead of outside this year. They had a great time there too.

We've really enjoyed some warmer weather lately and getting outside and seeing neighbors that disappeared all winter. I really wish we have a long spring and not jump into summer too soon (then I'll complain it's too hot!).

I took the girls swimming at an indoor pool a few weeks ago and we had a great time! Kaylee loves splashing around in the bath and doesn't care at all if the water gets in her face so I thought she'd love the pool. She clung to me and didn't want to let go for the first half hour or so. Kira, surprising to me, went right into the water and didn't care if her face or hair got wet. Kaylee finally loosened up then I couldn't get her out of the water either. She loved it! All was well until it was time to go home. I had them in the dressing room trying to change and was wrestling with Kira and poor Kaylee slipped on the wet floor and cracked her lip and chin. :( I felt so bad! Kira did too... but, like the trooper she is, she shook it off pretty quick and even was laughing a little on the way home. But, above is a picture of her "ouchie". I don't think it's going to be the last one with this little girl...

We really haven't had too much else new to report lately. Just doing the same thing and enjoying it. Although, we are excited to be ordering a fence in pretty soon. Kaylee heads straight for the street or for the water when we're outside so I've been worn out chasing her all around. It will be nice to hang out in the backyard and just let them run while I'm watchig.

I'll try to catch up again later...
