Updates and recital night!

Kira has been pretending to "get married". The veil and flowers were her own idea.

She flew her kite for the first time and had so much fun.

Kiki likes snuggling only with Kira and Dad.

So much fun playing in the sandbox.

Kaylee is so big and brave.

Getting ready for recital night.

So cute!

The final bow.

Kira had her first dance recital tonight. She did great!! It was so cute to watch her dance. I was so glad to see her get out there and do a good job. She had a ball watching all the bigger "princesses" dance too. I think she's going to want to do dance again now. They got through most of the song just fine but then one girl got a little confused and went to the final pose instead of lining up for a little more of the routine. All the other girls didn't quite know what to do so they all eventually ended up in the final pose and they just kind of fazed out the music. It was pretty funny.
We went to the pool twice this week and the kids had a ball! Kira met some of her friends there and loved getting in the water and splasing around. Kaylee took a little while to warm up to it but then loved it too. We got a pass so I'm sure we'll be spending quite a bit of time there this summer.

We got a sandbox and slide playset for our backyard free from one of Kyle's clients who was moving. Can't beat that! The girls love playing in the backyard. I can actually let them go out and entertain themselves while I watch from the window and get a few things done in the house. I really enjoy that.

Other than that... nothing too much new. Just getting used to this heat and humidity we've had lately.
