Happy 1st Birthday, Kaylee!

Kaylee is 1 year old. It's so hard to believe how fast time has gone by. She is such a joy and wonderful addition to our family. We had a great party planned for her at a restaurant with lots of friends coming but the weather had other ideas. I was so disappointed but it started snowing about 1:00 in the afternoon and didn't let up. It wasn't like Utah snow, but it was enough that people were calling to say they probably wouldn't make it. So, Kay came over for a short time then left early to get home. We had invited some of our neighbors to the party so we asked them to come to our house for pizza and cake (since I had already picked up the huge cake). It was easy because they walked across the street. We actually had a good time and it's a good thing Kaylee didn't know any better. She got some fun presents and had a good time playing with the kids.

She is changing so much daily it seems like. When I make the sound for dog, she tries to do it. We showed her once how to give us a "high five" and now she does it every time. I swear she tried to say banana this morning when I got one for her to eat. She is letting go of furniture to walk over to us more often. She is becoming quite the climber. Tonight, she climbed up on one of Kira's chairs then was headed to the top of a table before I caught her. And I thought I may not have to watch her as closely as she gets older... hahaha!

We sure have enjoyed having her smile brighten our day. Hope you enjoy some of these pictures...
